YWVR
YWVR (Your World VR) builds a diverse global library of 360° VR experiences for palliative, aged care, and paraplegic patients in Australia and worldwide.
From wellbeing and the arts to everyday moments, our immersive content helps people revisit places and experiences they can’t access in person - bringing a sense of presence that a flat-screen TV can’t match.
With a headset, patients can step back into the world around them through fully immersive 360° audio-visual VR.
Our Apps
360 Imagery
We use advanced 360° capture equipment, filming in high resolution up to 11K.
Our in-house team handles every stage - filming, recording, mixing, stitching, and editing - making YWVR one of the few Australian providers creating true-to-life 360° experiences for palliative and aged care.
Immersive VR Audio
Audio is central to immersion. With experience scoring Hollywood films, the YWVR team uses ambisonic (spatial) audio in every compatible experience.
Music Education
We’ve created a music education program that lets children of all ages learn an instrument and play as part of an ensemble. Our technology makes music instruction more accessible and cost-effective for schools and services in both rural and urban communities.

In collaboration with Bethesda Health Care, we gathered patient feedback to explore the effectiveness of VR experiences in aged care and palliative care settings. The results were overwhelmingly positive, with patients reporting meaningful benefits in comfort, wellbeing, and connection.
